Beaded Rose Necklace

Beaded Rose Necklace This hand beaded rose necklace slowly came together over the course of four years as I worked through each step and figured out where the design wanted to go next. The end result is a truly one of a kind piece that blends detailed beadwork with the romantic beauty of a blooming rose in a way that feels artistic but still wearable. At the center is a large hand beaded rose measuring about 4 inches by 3.5 inches. Countless beads were stitched one at a time to create layered petals with soft curves and natural dimension, giving the flower a realistic look and plenty of texture. Two large beaded rosebuds dangle from the rose. Smaller carved rose quartz buds are woven throughout the necklace and along a flowing vine on one side, making the piece feel almost like a naturally growing rose. The necklace itself measures approximately 17 inches long and is reinforced with wire to help it keep its rounded shape. A 2 inch extension chain allows for a more adjustable fit. Including the rose and vine details, the focal section measures about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide, giving the necklace a bold presence while still feeling elegant and feminine. Every part of this necklace reflects the time, patience, and craftsmanship that went into creating it. Since each detail was stitched and shaped by hand, it would be nearly impossible to duplicate exactly, making it a truly special wearable piece of bead art.
