MXnet X-Series 48 Port Fiber Network Switch
AVPro Edge’s X-Series AC-MXNET-SW48XF is a scalable, high-bandwidth, enterprise-grade, managed aggregation switch. Full Layer-3 capabilities, including OSPF/BGP routing, MPLS L3 VPN, VRF, and Virtual Switch Framework support with enterprise-grade redundancy and standards compliance, make the AC-MXNET-SW48XF perfect for enterprise, education, production, and government deployments. 48 × 10G SFP+ ports and 6 x 100G QSFP28 stacking ports support high-density SDVoE endpoint deployments, while enabling high-speed stacking and flexible multi-switch expansion. With 600 Gbps of stacking bandwidth, the system provides 1.25 times the headroom required for SDVoE’s maximum cross‑switch load of 480 Gbps, ensuring all streams route without congestion across any supported topology. With edge-to-core deployment flexibility, the AC-MXNET-SW48XF can function standalone, as a core switch, a distribution switch, or as an edge switch, underneath larger cores. Aimed at large-scale AV-over-IP environments where high-bandwidth availability, future-ready scalability, and mission-critical reliability are paramount, the AVPro Edge-designed and manufactured AC-MXNET-SW48XF features an advanced physical architecture purpose-engineered and built for carrier-class compatibility. 1 + 1 hot-swappable redundant 350-watt power supplies and 3 + 1 redundant hot-swappable front-to-rear ventilation, steerable airflow system fans ensure zero maintenance-related downtime. Pre-configuration for MXnet 10G and plug-and-play SDVoE-based AV-over-IP system deployment eliminates manual setup complexity. Quality of Service (QoS) settings optimized for Dante audio streams prioritize Dante audio packets over other network traffic, reducing latency and preventing packet loss, ensuring high-quality, uninterrupted lossless audio streaming. IGMP Snooping, VLAN segmentation, QoS, and LAG are optimized out of the box for predictable multicast performance and seamless video switching. Important Notes: Stacking and Deployment Guidelines MXnet 10G SDVoE requires a minimum of 6 × 100G ISL links for non-blocking dual-switch stacking. Using only 5 links creates a hash-collision risk at full load. Active Optical Cables, SFP+, and QSFP28 breakout cables and modules are not included. There is a 3-switch hop maximum.
