Eldorado Second Edition 2024

Eldorado, the Golden One - Bakery Hill's Australian Sherry (Apera) barrel matured whisky is back with this second edition. We have ramped up the intensity and vibrancy of the sherry barrel influence to produce a rich, sprightly, complex but ultimately drinkable single malt whisky. Eldorado Second Edition showcases the complex integration between American oak and French oak maturation on the traditional Bakery Hill Classic spirit. After second distillation the unpeated spirit was placed in a Seppeltsfield Barossa Valley Apera cask for 18 months, before a final maturation in American Oak ex-Bourbon cask for a period of just on 3 years. This whisky is dangerously drinkable from the bottle at 55% but may also improve with a couple of drops of water, and certainly with time in the glass.
