Crafted in Hobart, Tasmania, this single malt was matured for four years in 100L ex-bourbon quarter casks before finishing in fresh 225L tawny barriques from Yalumba, recently emptied and rich with fortified character. Founded in 2014, Hobart Whisky has earned international acclaim, including Best Australian New Make and a Category Win for Tawny Port Matured at the World Whiskies Awards. This Barrel Lane release marks their first use of fresh Yalumba tawny casks, layering concentrated red fruit depth and warmth over a bourbon-built backbone in a limited edition created exclusively for members.
