Woodlawn Park Chardonnay 2023

Planted to Bernard clones 95 and 76 – this site provides generous and flavoursome fruit. At harvest, Ricky opted for multiple passes with a blend of whole bunch and destemmed berries making it to the press. It was lightly crushed for different solid levels, bringing a refined mineral zip and moreish texture. The wine fermented in a mix of French and Austrian puncheons and barriques. It was partial malo, 11 months on full lees in barrel, and then tank rest for another four months.
