Shadow of What Remains

Oil on panel. 24"x36" framed Available at TAG (The Artist's Gallery) in Los Angeles. A vessel is defined not only by its shape, but by what it holds. Light moves through these bottles, revealing both presence and absence. The shadows can suggest parts of ourselves that remain unseen yet influential — patterns, or burdens that can leave us feeling suspended in a moment in a a life continually reshaped by what we choose to let in. No matter how much light we carry or how brightly it shines through, there are moments when it is blocked and shadows and appear. There is beauty there as well.
