Continuous (One-Piece) Flow

Students will learn the basics of "flow" production and how creating continuous flow drives waste from processes, setting the stage for Just-In-Time production. Attendees will learn how to implement a continuous flow work cell, including the specific steps to design flexible work cells from selection of products that can “flow” together to optimal layouts for best operator communication and feedback. Class time is set aside to allow attendees to engage in specific discussions of how to set-up continuous flow on their own shop floor.
