The dial is the star. That navy blue waffle texture catches light differently every time you move your wrist — sometimes it looks almost black, sometimes it opens up into this deep, rich blue. At 36mm it wears like a proper vintage explorer watch without feeling like a toy, and the domed acrylic crystal gives it a warmth you just don't get from sapphire. It's a genuine one-watch-collection piece: dressy enough for a shirt cuff, tough enough for daily wear with 100m water resistance and a screw-down crown. The bracelet is solid with a nice taper from 20mm to 16mm, though the clasp has picked up some desk-diving marks. If you're after the Tudor BB36 vibe without the AD experience, this is probably the best version of that idea anyone's made.
