"Blue Sky Silk" Vintage 1930's Silk Chiffon Blue Sky Blouse UK 10 US 6

This truly enchanting 1930's silk chiffon blouse, rendered in a wonderful blue sky and cloud pattern, is the perfect piece to add to your seasonal vintage wardrobe. The elegant high rounded neckline is framed by a turned down pleated collar, which draws together along the nape with a hook and eye, above a keyhole feature. The simple shoulder line, sets off the sleeveless cut and draws the eye to the straight cut silhouette of the blouse. Accented by tailored darts along either side of the bust line, and a lowered rounded hemline along the back, every simplistic detail of this piece showcases the incredible design and craftsmanship of the era. This blouse is constructed in silk chiffon which has an element of sheerness to it.
