The strap should hold the mask comfortably securely without pressing too tightly into the child's sensitive skin. - Keep the child awake if possible. When asleep, inhalation becomes shallower, meaning the child will not breathe in enough of the medication for the treatment to be effective. - Hold the atomiser upright. For the mask to position correctly on the face and receive a steady stream of mist, ensure the atomiser chamber is held vertically upright during treatment. - When connecting the accessories for kids' models, like the Beurer IH 26 KIDS or IH 58 KIDS, the baby or children's mask must be attached to the atomiser using the included angled fitting. This helps maintain a comfortable positioning angle against the child's face while keeping the medication chamber upright.
