Passionfruit | Nova

Nova Grafted Passionfruit is an appealing choice for gardeners wanting to make the most of their garden space while enjoying homegrown tropical fruit. A productive variety, Nova produces round, purple-skinned fruit with juicy, aromatic pulp and a sweet flavour. Enjoy it fresh or add it to breakfast bowls, drinks and desserts. As a vigorous climbing vine, Nova can be trained along a sturdy trellis or fence, making good use of vertical space while adding attractive greenery to the garden. Grafting joins the fruiting variety to a separate rootstock, which may improve tolerance to certain soil-borne diseases, depending on the rootstock used. Nova appreciates a sunny position, well-drained soil and regular watering while establishing, with sturdy support for its climbing growth. For gardeners who love picking their own sweet, purple passionfruit, Nova is a lovely addition to the backyard garden.
