Motion Labs 19 Pin Overmolded Multicable, 12/14 AWM The Motion Labs 19 Pin Overmolded Multicable is a 12/14 AWM multicable rated 600V and 90°C, fitted with overmolded 19 pin circular connectors and a bonded ground ring. The VSC compatible connectors have aluminium bodies, and the cable is available in lengths from 25 ft to 150 ft. On a mechanical connector, the conductors can become stressed at the terminations and the insert can loosen and spin. Overmolding locks the cable and connector together, which Motion Labs states improves shock absorption, pull strength and flex relief. It also removes torsion between the cable and connector, reducing the risk of burnt or pushed-back pins, shorts and hot spots. Who Is This Product For? Ideal for: lighting and production crews and rental houses that run 19 pin multicable. Important: The connectors are UL/CSA certified, but the 12/14 AWM cable is not UL listed. Materials and Construction Motion Labs uses a two-step overmolding process. First, an injected polymer encapsulates the conductors and pins or sockets in a custom mold.
