Profile AC-2 Preload Shims

AC-2 HUB PRELOAD SHIMS The AC-2 Hub is designed and built with angular contact bearings. This type of bearing requires a force on one side(red seal side) in order to function properly. “Preload” is what the force is referred to. It can be adjusted and dialed in to make the hub spin smoother as well as take out any wobble that may be occurring in the wheel. Three parts function to put preload on the bearings. There is a snap ring, wave spring, and preload shims. Adjustment of the hub is done using the preload shims. Adding or removing shims can either tighten or loosen the hub. -Three sizes available: A. 0.3mm B. 0.5mm C. 1.0mm -Stainless steel material -For use only on AC-2 Hubs
