Persillade is a French pantry staple of parsley, shallot and garlic. Terre Exotique’s Persillade Blend with Bear’s Garlic comes in a single 65g tin and adds bear’s garlic, also known as wild garlic, to the classic mix. Parsley gives a fresh, green base, while shallot and garlic bring savoury depth. Bear’s garlic reinforces the garlic flavour with a soft, fresh and herbaceous note. The blend comes from Terre Exotique, the French spice house founded by Erwann de Kerros, a traveller from Brittany.
