A: They are intended for compatible fifth-generation Subaru Forester mirror housings without integrated turn signal lamps. Because mirror configurations can vary, verify the actual mirror housing before ordering. Q: Do the mirror caps come painted and ready to install? A: Yes. The mirror caps arrive professionally painted and clear-coated. Additional painting is not required. Installation is still necessary, and compatibility with your existing mirror housing must be confirmed. Q: Will these Subaru Forester mirror covers match my vehicle's current color? A: ReveMoto uses automotive color-matching techniques intended to complement your vehicle's current exterior color. Because paint can change with age, sunlight, and environmental exposure, an exact visual match cannot be guaranteed under every lighting condition. Q: Can I use these mirror caps on a Forester with turn signal indicators in the mirrors? A: No. This conversion is intended for compatible mirror housings without integrated turn signal lamps. A housing with a turn signal may require a different mirror cap design and should not be assumed compatible. Q: Do I need to replace the entire side mirror assembly? A: Not necessarily. This conversion is designed to replace the exterior mirror caps on a compatible, serviceable mirror assembly. It is not a complete replacement side mirror assembly. Q: Why replace textured-black mirror caps instead of painting the originals? A: Textured plastic can retain its original grain beneath a new finish, affecting the smoothness of the final appearance. A suitable smooth replacement cap provides a more appropriate foundation for a glossy painted finish than simply applying paint over a textured surface. Q: Does this kit include the mirror glass, motor, or complete mirror housing? A: No. This is a mirror cap conversion kit, not a complete side mirror assembly. The mirror glass, adjustment motor, wiring, and complete housing are not included unless explicitly stated in the product's package contents. Q: What does the ReveMoto Lifetime Paint Guarantee cover? A: The product is covered by ReveMoto's Lifetime Paint Guarantee, subject to the applicable warranty terms and exclusions. Review the published guarantee for details about covered paint defects, eligibility, and exclusions.
