Balsam Blanket

Bring home the spirit of the Himalayas with our luxuriously plush heritage blankets, handcrafted in Bhutan. Combining elements of warmth, comfort, and introspective symbolism, each blanket tells a story of tradition and spiritual journey. We invite you to live with them everyday-- draped over a sofa, layered over a bed or cozy-up in your favorite chair. Blankets are handcrafted in Bhutan using soft, plush wool from indigenous sheep and yak. Professional dry cleaning is recommended prior to storing away as moths are attracted to body oil and other scents. Some amount of shedding is natural to our wool throws but will reduce with time. To freshen your wool throw, simply hang out in the air to let it breathe. Slight variations in dye-lot and weave are inherent to the handwoven nature of our textiles.
