At a glance: Manufacturer: Northcott Collection: Canvas Colorway: Assorted Fabric: 100% cotton Construction: Woven Quantity: 294 precut 5" x 5" squares Package contains: 7 packs of 42 Variety: Mottled tonal prints in many colors, with duplicates Why this quantity This is the count that Sumac, Bracken and Larkspur ask for at throw size, which is 58 1/2 by 72 inches. It is the same pack you can buy on its own, counted out so that one order covers the whole top instead of two orders and a wait in between. Texture that still reads as color Canvas looks like painted cloth. Each square has movement, but from a step back it reads as a single color, so the pack works as blenders or as a whole rainbow in one quilt. The cutting is already done. Good to know before you order Canvas is a printed texture, not a solid. The packs are assorted and include duplicates, so some colors appear more than once and the mix leans toward earthy tones rather than pastels. Across 294 squares that works out at about fourteen of each color, which is what a repeating color run needs.
