The Salt Top is a light, loose-fitting piece made of three panels, a main body and two wing panels, which are joined together as you knit. The diagonal lines come naturally from this construction. The top is worked entirely top-down in stockinette stitch. The neckline is finished with a folded stockinette band, while the armholes and body edges get an attached I-cord. You can also turn the top around and wear the wing panels at the front or the back, whichever you like.
