Marchesi di Gresy Barbera d’Asti 2024

This wine is a food lover’s dream! Pizza, pasta, lamb, barbeque - this wine would go great with any of it. When we talk about boutique wines this is exactly what we are talking about: less than 200 cases are produced of this wine annually and it goes fast! This red wine is bright up front, then transitions into dark berries, cherry and almost a little fig with a dry finish that leaves your mouth primed for that next bite. Similar to other wines this month, I would describe this wine as a Euro style Red Mountain wine…and that’s a very, very good thing.
