It has a lovely natural cream colour and an approximate loft of 1/3" (around 8.5 mm), making it fabulous for adding texture, warmth and dimension without making your quilt feel overly heavy. Helpful Quilting & Care Tips Quilting distance: Quilters Dream recommends stitching up to 8" (20.3 cm) apart. Pre-washing: No pre-washing is necessary. Washing: Finished quilts may be machine washed and dried using cold settings. The manufacturer states Dream Wool can be washed and dried without shrinkage when following its recommendations. Protect the loft: Avoid ironing or applying high heat, as this can damage the batting’s lovely loft.
