1:35 Soviet Aerosan KM-4 - TRUMPETER

The Soviet KM-4 Aerosan was a propeller-driven winter transport vehicle developed in the Soviet Union during the mid-1930s for operation across snow-covered terrain and frozen waterways. It featured a lightweight enclosed body mounted on four skis, with front-ski steering and a rear-mounted aircraft-type propeller powered by a modified GAZ-M-1 engine. Designed primarily for transporting personnel, passengers, supplies and medical evacuees, it offered an effective means of transportation in remote regions where conventional wheeled vehicles struggled to operate. Following successful trials in 1936, approximately 68 examples were manufactured by 1941, serving mainly civilian, medical and communications roles.
