Audiocenter 18" Active DSP Subwoofer [MA118]

Audiocenter 18" Active DSP Subwoofer [MA118] The Audiocenter MA118 is an 18-inch active subwoofer designed to reproduce low-frequency audio in compatible professional sound systems. It is suitable for consideration in live sound, DJ, event, venue and worship applications where additional bass support is required. As an active subwoofer, the MA118 includes built-in amplification, so it does not require a separate external power amplifier for the subwoofer itself. The cabinet is intended to work with correctly matched full-range loudspeakers, a suitable audio source and properly configured signal routing. The exact performance and compatibility of the finished system depend on the connected equipment and the installation. The South African supplier lists the MA118 with Class D amplification, DSP control and selectable low-pass-filter settings. These settings help integrate the subwoofer with compatible speakers when a technician selects an appropriate crossover arrangement. The listed plywood enclosure has a hard-wearing finish and an M20 pole-mount fitting for a compatible speaker pole and safely supported top speaker. Always follow the manufacturer's setup, ventilation and mounting instructions. Check the exact supplied model and its operating specifications before use, particularly where regional product specifications differ.
