Colorful Christmas Tree Cards

Six Christmas cards that look the way the lights feel when you drive out just to see them. Not Christmas as a checklist. That other thing, the car ride, the zoo, the walk past the windows downtown, the part where you go somewhere just to look. Each of the six designs is built entirely from color and pattern and brightness: dense dots, spiraling ribbons, swirling diagonals, bold backgrounds in sky blue, red, magenta, dark green, golden yellow. No words on any of them. Just the trees, doing what the lights do. That feeling never resolves into a sentence. You either put someone inside it or you don't. These try with color, not with text, which is the only honest way to try. The person who opens one of the 24 folded cards, four of each design, each one 4 x 5.5 inches and blank inside, will know exactly what it felt like to stand there in the cold, looking up.
