Carmel Chestnut
Inspired by the classic lace-up ankle boot, the Carmel is made in chestnut leather, to order and by hand. The leather is left plain from toe to topline, and the tatreez is the pull tab at the heel, which shows above the collar and disappears beneath a trouser. Name Named for Mount Carmel, the ridge that rises over the city of Haifa. Panel The women of Masafer Yatta and Tawani embroider the heel pull tab, which the workshop sets into the leather at the back of the boot. Material Chestnut leather chosen for how it takes wear, fully leather lined. A leather-edged rubber sole on a low stacked heel.
