This firing pin is designed for use with harder primers or for competition shooters who want 100% primer strike reliability while using significantly reduced firing pin springs. This Striker is performance enhanced which means the Lug face surface and the shelf ledges are de-tooled, refaced, honed to 30,000 grit then high polished to eliminate any drag in the system. This striker paired with the proprietary changes made to the Sear of the EVOLUTION X kits addresses all interfacing surfaces of the striker firing system in complete totality. This upgrade in almost all cases drops the break weight by 5 oz.
