Every commission starts with a conversation. Eddie learns about the person, the occasion and the meaning behind the piece before putting pencil to paper. The first sketch becomes the starting point for a design made for one individual. More Than a Watch or a Piece of Jewelry Whether you have a watch design in mind, a family signet ring you want to create, a pendant with personal meaning or a collection that brings several pieces together, the Atelier gives you the opportunity to take part in the design process. You can explore custom dials, casebacks, materials, finishes, gemstones, engravings and other details that reflect your vision. For those who want more than one piece, a watch and fine jewelry can share the same symbols, materials or design elements to tell one connected story. From Your Story to the Finished Piece The Conversation We begin by learning about your story, the occasion and what you want the creation to represent. The Design Eddie develops an original concept based on your ideas and direction. The Sketch Your concept begins as a hand drawn design that serves as the foundation for the commission. The Details Materials, gemstones, finishes and personal details are considered to bring the design together. The Creation Once the design is approved, the piece moves into production with selected artisans and specialists.
