pisces card wallet / almond

The Pisces Card Wallet carries the name of the collection because its shape felt the most Pisces of them all. I made Pisces during a really low time, when my moods were like water, flowing every which way. The bottom edge of the wallet is a wave, and an uneven one, like the uneven magnets on the Bay Bag. A card wallet is such a simple, functional thing that it needed a bit of whimsy. Almond is the colour of almond biscotti, lightly toasted. I named it for the nut that turned up in so many of the dishes and desserts I grew up with.
