This is not just a tour—it’s a deep cultural immersion into the heart of Guatemala. 🥾 Acatenango Overnight Volcano Hike The Acatenango trek is the most challenging and most rewarding part of this adventure—and one of the most iconic hikes in the world. This is an overnight hike covering approximately 12 miles round-trip (give or take) with steep elevation gain and high altitude. It is physically demanding, but completely worth it. We will do this together as a group—no one is left behind. You’ll leave your main luggage safely at our private villa and pack only a backpack with essentials for one night on the mountain. We’ll spend the night in rustic mountain cabins with mattresses and sleeping bags before hiking back down the following morning to return to our villa to shower, rest, and recover. During the hike, meals are included: 🥪 Lunch 🍽️ Dinner 🍳 Breakfast You’ll also have the chance to witness Fuego Volcano erupting at night from camp (weather permitting)—one of the most surreal natural experiences on earth.
