A 125 gsm Nuyarn merino base layer built to sit under everything else you wear. The body-contouring fit keeps the fabric in contact with your skin, which is what allows a base layer to move moisture instead of trapping it. Nuyarn spins merino around a nylon core without the tight twist of conventional yarn, so the fibers stay lofted. That loft holds air for warmth at a low weight and releases moisture faster than conventionally spun merino of the same gsm. At 125 gsm it layers nicely under a cycling jersey, ski gear, or a sweatshirt without adding bulk at the shoulders or waist. Peat is a dark, desaturated brown with a green undertone. It stays neutral under earth-toned and mid-tone outer layers and shows less grime than a light color over a long season. Made in USA.
