Dining, kitchen and living run together down one side of the house and two bedroom suites sit on the other, with a timber-framed gable over the front porch and a 45 by 12 foot deck across the whole back. Underneath, the plan draws another 952 square feet you can finish now or later: a family and game room, a bunk room that becomes the third bedroom, a full bath and a storage room, all opening at ground level onto a covered patio. The drawing set is the same either way, so the house you build first and the house you grow into share one foundation. Key Design Features A lower level you can finish later: a 25' 10" x 14' family and game room with sliders to the patio, a bunk room for the third bedroom, a full bath and a storage room. The stair down is inside, off the entry. A 45 foot deck that is also a roof: the 45 by 12 foot deck spans the dining and living rooms and covers the patio below, so one piece of framing gives you open deck above and shade at ground level. Two suites, not one: Suite 1 is 15 by 14 and vaulted, with a soaking tub, a separate shower, a private toilet room, a 10' 2" x 8' walk-in closet and the laundry right outside the door. Suite 2, 14 by 13, sits behind the front bay with its own full bath and works just as well as an office. Vaulted open living: dining, kitchen and living share one vaulted room on ten-foot walls, with a gas fireplace, an island kitchen and a clear line of sight from the front door to the deck. Craftsman details you can see from the street: a timber-truss gable over the 18 by 8 foot covered porch, exposed brackets under the eaves, shingle and lap siding and a steep standing seam metal roof.
