GR10K X ETTE SECOND CHANCE AMULET DOLL VIII - PALE GREY

Developed as part of the GR10K x ette collaboration, the Second Chance Amulet Doll series extends the project between GR10K and ette, the art and design subsidiary of Los Angeles band julie, into a series of one-of-one utility objects. Each doll is individually constructed from available GR10K fabric remnants and production off-cuts, giving otherwise residual materials a second application through a unique combination of colour, textile and construction. Second Chance Amulet Doll VIII is constructed from deadstock GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® Topkapi fabric in Smoke Grey. The laminated construction gives the irregular, deliberately misshapen form the distinctive structure and surface character of the original performance textile. A belt loop allows the object to be hooked, tied or attached across bags, garments and other objects. Produced as a unique piece, each Second Chance Amulet Doll differs according to the reclaimed material used in its construction. GR10K and julie branding on the reverse identifies the object within the collaborative series.
