Beginner's Series: The Simple Pendant! ONLINE

This is an online seat for a live workshop being held at our Texas workshop! Looking to join us in person? In-studio seats are available at this link! If you are just starting out as a beginner working in a home studio, this workshop is for you! Join resident metalsmith Francesca Watson for a fun, two-day project that will introduce you to bezel creation, working with wire and sheet, and the basics of setting a cabochon. We'll also practice the fundamental skill of using a jeweler's saw and mark-making with simple stamps! Along the way, we'll discuss the properties of sterling silver; why flux is important and which ones work best for silver; how to get a professional finish on your piece; and much more. And as an added bonus, you'll get 30 days access to videos of the demos on our online learning portal... at no additional cost! This workshop is part of our beginner series and offers essential foundational skills, even if you've never touched a torch. (There are no prerequisites for this workshop, but our Intro to Rings or Pennant Earrings workshops will give you a leg up on parts of this project!)
