Queensland Grouper, also known as the Giant Grouper, is considered one of the highly sought after delicacies in South East Asia, due to its firm white flesh texture and sweetness. The fish is perfect for steaming whole or stir fry and hotpot when thinly sliced. Currently wild grouper is classified as a protected specie in Australia, but they recently became commercially available from several dedicated Queensland Grouper farms within the northern part of Australia.
