Stair rope with wall brackets

Chunky stair rope in a twisted design and with decorative and shiny brass stoppers at both ends. The rope has a rough texture and has evidence of use - see photos. There is a little damage in one area where the rope has frayed, probably due to rubbing against one of the wall brackets, of which there are four included here. From a house in Paris. Approx. 5 meters in length.
