Description | The Old Man Mountain Manzanita Cradle is a rigid handlebar-mounted cargo system built for bikepacking, touring, gravel riding, and rugged off-road adventures. Designed in partnership with Salsa and inspired by the Salsa Anything Cradle, it creates a secure front storage platform while preserving valuable cockpit space for lights, GPS computers, trackers, and other accessories. Compatible with both 31.8mm and 35mm handlebars, the Manzanita Cradle uses rigid aluminum arms, a reinforced nylon cradle, and an angle-adjustable design to fit a wide range of bikes and riding setups. It’s available with either a 9L Top Load Bag, ideal for drop-bar road and gravel bikes, or an 11L Side Load Bag, popular for flat-bar mountain bikes. Both bag options are fully waterproof, PFAS/PFC-free, and built with TPU fabric, welded seams, Hypalon® reinforcements, roll-top closures, air purge valves, and front stretch stash pockets.
