2023 Berry Bros. & Rudd Extra Ordinary Claret by Château Villa Bel-Air, Bordeaux

This is a classic red Bordeaux blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The nose is immediately inviting with red cherry and delicate floral notes. With ripe red and black fruit flavours, the palate is framed wonderfully by subtle, ripe tannins and lingering spice. This is a great example of the freshness and intensity of the 2022 vintage.
