Botanical Name: Apium graveolens Lifecycle: Annual Heritage: The Mediterranean 'Tendercrisp' Celery is a heavy producer of compact dark green tall stalks. Popular for being a consistent performer in the home garden. Grow quickly with adequate water and use liquid fertiliser for best results. Crunchy and delicious with mild flavour. It resists bolting and can be harvested at any stage of growth. You can harvest the stalks individually or cut the entire plant at the base. The leaves can also be eaten like parsley or coriander. SOWING: Spring - Early Autumn Transplant Celery seeds are best sown in spring through early autumn.
