Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the region and observe the traditional lifestyle of local communities during approximately a three-hour drive. Upon arrival at Ankarafantsika National Park, you will start the Coquereli circuit, where you will discover the park’s rich biodiversity, including lemurs, birds, reptiles, and a wide variety of endemic plants. The adventure continues with a short 30 minutes hike through the African savannah, followed by visits to the impressive Grand Canyon of the park and its sandstone formations, as well as a panoramic forest viewpoint. After these explorations, lunch will be served inside the park, followed by some free time in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. In the evening, you will experience a guided night walk to discover the park’s nocturnal wildlife before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable bungalow within the park. Day 2: 07:00 AM: breakfast is served before heading out for a boat excursion on Lake Ravelobe. During this visit, you will observe aquatic birds and learn more about the historical and ecological importance of the area. You will also visit the park’s endemic baobab tree, an iconic natural feature of the region. After the morning activities, lunch will be served either inside the park or along the way. In the afternoon, you will begin your return journey to Mahajanga city, followed by a transfer back to your hotel, marking the end of the service.
