Georgian Sun 'KINDZMARAULI' 2024
Popular, affordable, semi-sweet red wine. Light to medium body, easy-to-drink wine that is not too sweet. Taste profile is fruity, ruby-red featuring notes of red fruit, sweet plum, raspberry jam, and some spice or cocoa. Kindzmarauli is a style of winemaking established in the Kindzmarauli PDO of the Georgia Kakheti region. The grape is Saperavi that is generally used to make bold, dry wines. However, for Kindzmarauli, the fermentation is stopped (by chilling) early to retain a higher volume of sugar (45 g/L in this case) giving the wine a "semi-sweet" character. This is an excellent dessert, casual, summer evening wine. Also, great for drinking a red wine on hot days. Serve chilled with fruits, chocolate, desserts and blue cheese. 14-15°C (57-59°F)
