Road to Worlds Blend
Earlier this year, Benjamin won the first Belgian Roasting Championship, which means we're heading to the World Roasting Championship at the end of June to represent Belgium. Training for a world championship takes coffee. A lot of it. Last week, we spent a full day training on the Stronghold S9, one of our final sessions before we head to the World Roasting Championship at the end of June. We roasted a lot: singles, blends, different approaches, pushing profiles in every direction. We came home with a pile of different coffees. Rather than let them go to waste, we blended them all together. The result was surprisingly good: sweet, fruity, slightly floral, and it works just as well as a filter as it does an espresso. This is that blend. 30kg, roasted once, won't be repeated. Sweet · Fruity · Slightly floral · Light roast
