Description A beautifully shaped vintage large three-seater Chesterfield style sofa upholstered in a striking mustard or gold-coloured fabric. This sofa features a classic deep buttoned backrest and buttoned lower front apron, giving it a timeless antique look. The piece is designed with dramatic, deeply scrolled arms that elegant curve outwards, accentuated by a continuous run of individual antiqued brass studding along the arm faces and front lower border. It includes two large, loose seat cushions that provide a comfortable, deep-seated lounging experience. This characterful sofa makes an immediate focal piece for any traditional lounge, snug, or commercial space. Condition The sofa is in worn vintage condition and is sold as a character project piece showing various signs of age and historic use: Please note that one of the middle support feet is currently missing from underneath the base, though the sofa remains stable and sturdy during normal use. The mustard fabric upholstery shows widespread marks, noticeable water staining, and general surface shading throughout, most visible across the seat cushions and arm tops. There is some slight movement or play detected within the internal frame joints of the arms and wings.
