The Saliseal Sunshade fabric with poles is designed to create shade on boats. The advantage of this system is that it tensions itself through the carbon poles which are set at a 15-degree angle. With this system, it is possible to have the fabric follow the shape of the boat without sacrificing space or encountering obstacles. The fabric and frame are easy to disassemble and store. So unlike a traditional bimini, there is no obstacle left on the boat. You first order the hardware system and install it on the boat. Before you insert the poles, first measure the distance between the sockets or railing brackets. The measuring point is the center of the holes where the carbon poles will go. Once you know the measurements, look under the heading measuring how the fabric should be made. Because the deck sockets and railing brackets are positioned at a 15-degree angle and point outward from the boat, the fabric is nicely tensioned. The railing sockets are for a railing diameter of 30 to 32 mm. You mount the railing socket on the part of the railing where there is a stanchion so the socket cannot tip over.
