18th Century French Erotic Print | La Crainte

This humorous French erotic print depicts a woman startled in her boudoir by a voyeur peeping at her from behind the bed curtains. You might translate the title "La Crainte" as "The Fright." Hand colored stipple engraving measuring about 20” wide presented in a gilded 19th century wood frame. Condition is very good with some fading to the paper from age.
