Guatemala Los Dos Socios
Los Dos Socios – Guatemala Grown in the highlands of Huehuetenango near La Libertad, Los Dos Socios is the life’s work of Don Concepción Villatoro Matias, who purchased his farm in 1990 and has been cultivating coffee there ever since. Sitting at 1,700 meters above sea level, the farm is planted with Caturra and Bourbon varietals, grown beneath Gravilea and Chalum shade trees that support slow, even cherry development. Over the years, Don Concepción expanded his land by acquiring small parcels, carefully tending each one with the same intention and care. The name Los Dos Socios, meaning “the two associates,” reflects his belief that he is not working alone—but in partnership with God, who sustains and supports the farm. The result is a rich, structured cup with a smooth, buttery finish—showcasing notes of berry, cherry, and dark chocolate. Tasting Notes: stone fruit, cacao nibs, and turbinado sugar. Process: Washed
