We offer mature African Violets that are in bloom / already budding as well as ones that have already been through their first blooming cycle ('Out Of Bloom' option). We do this so you have a choice to not have to wait to enjoy your plant in bloom or save money purchasing one that isn't blooming at the moment. Care Instructions: Sunlight: 10+ hours of Indirect sunlight for optimal blooming. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Watering: Water when top of the soil is dry. Water in the morning is best to avoid mildew. African Violets like to be moist, but not soggy. Dump out excess water, do not over water. Fertilization: Liquid Fertilizer 8-14-9 Use a weak solution each time you water for best blooming results Temperature & Humidity: 60°to 80°F; 40% to 50% humidity Cold Weather Shipping: To reduce the risk of damage to your plants, if your area is experiencing cold weather, we will include 'heat packs' and 'packing insulation' as needed at no cost. We cannot guarantee the plants if damaged by weather or carrier mishandling of the package.
