Ceriatone C-lator Vacuum Tube Effect Loop Buffer

The Ceriatone C-lator is a valve-driven effects loop buffer designed to optimise the interface between your amplifier's effects loop and external pedals or rack processors. Based on the classic tube-buffered loop found in legendary Californian amplifiers, it not only improves impedance matching and signal levels, but also adds harmonic richness and responsiveness, even when no effects are connected. Using a 12AX7/ECC83 valve, the C-lator provides independent send and return level controls, making it easy to prevent effects from being overloaded while recovering any lost gain. Separate Bright switches on both the send and return stages allow additional high-frequency sparkle where required, while the output stage can also be used to push an amplifier's phase inverter into natural overdrive or act as an additional master volume. Equally at home with pedals or rack-mounted effects, the C-lator delivers a transparent, flexible effects loop solution while enhancing the feel and character of your amplifier.
