Watercolor Kickstart – Teen / Adult Class

Need some inspiration? This class is for artists who want to make some bold strokes and energetic strides in their art. Each week, we will work from an inspiring prompt to create a painting in translucent watercolor. I will teach the class as a paint along, allowing the students to watch me paint and then recreate what was just demonstrated. Topics will include overall painting approach, color mixing, and critiquing your results. Sometimes the most challenging step is just getting started! Enjoy the warmth of the studio and the energy that comes from being surrounded by other artists. Artists supply their own materials (paints, brushes, and papers). A list of suggested supplies will be provided upon registration. Beginning watercolor artists are welcome! (min 6 / max 12). Section SEPT1T: Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 pm, Sept 1 to Oct 6, $180 for 6 classes.
