OAK CREEK CANYON Hand Dyed on Squoosh DK - Splashed and Speckled Yarn

When we lived in northern Arizona, we often drove from Sedona to Flagstaff through the beautiful Oak Creek Canyon. It's a very narrow canyon with a river in it and high cliffs overhead. It's much greener than the surrounding area because of the river with a combination of deciduous trees and pine trees, especially near the top where the elevation is over 6000 feet. I dyed this yarn using my Splashed and Speckled method, which means each skein contains the same colors but in different places, making each one unique. This type of yarn isn't likely to pool. If you plan to use more than one skein in a project, I recommend switching skeins every few rows to create a more consistent look.
