Comice and Conference pears from our Hulme, Wingham growers. Comice pears are sweet, juicy, and buttery with a delicate flavour — perfect for eating fresh. They have a golden-yellow skin when ripe and a tender flesh that melts in your mouth. Conference pears are firmer, slightly elongated, and offer a crisp, refreshing taste with subtle sweetness. They're excellent for both eating and cooking, and store well. Both varieties are at their best when ripe but still slightly firm. Store in a cool place and allow to soften at room temperature before enjoying.
