Fully round mixing bowl with copper ring handle. This is a super traditional bowl that has been used for whisking egg whites or melting chocolate over a pan of water. This is a professional size and looks magnificent. The round shape ensures even melting or whisking. Should you whisk egg whites in this they will be fluffier and stiffer - a reaction with the copper. This has a iron ring where the rim of the copper is places and hammered over, this rim has some indentations due to years of faithful service. The iron ring is in very good condition. there are hammering marks all over this bowl - the patina is exceptional there are no smooth areas. The outside has numerous scratches and signs of wear and use. There is some cleaning residue around the handle and rim. The surface has dulled - there are a few small indentations and pin dents - this has had a full life but has been incredibly well looked after. This would not be out of place in a copper museum! This thing is massive and fabulous and totally fit for purpose.
